I'm sitting her wondering what is going on with life. Everything seems to be so focused on what we can get out of it without putting anything into it. I was raised to work for what I wanted and to respect everything and everyone. But as I meet people and learn about them I find that few live by those values or even recognize them which is a shame. Whatever happened to just being together and enjoying what we have instead of always looking for more and who we can use to achieve our desire? I don't like using people so I don't want to be used either. It's truly a sad state of affairs when everything we do is geared only towards what most benefits us without a thought as to how it may effect other people around us. Take a look in the mirror the next time you go in the bathroom and really look hard at yourself. Look deep into your eyes and see what they reveal to you. We're all human beings and deserve the same respect and consideration as everyone else. None of us are better than anyone else. Some of us may be rich but that does not make them better. Just more fortunate. Some of us may be geniuses but that does not make them better than us, just more able to analyze things better or work mathematics out better. It doesn't make them better as people. So when you next want to achieve something think about how you're going to do it. Will you use someone to get what you want or will you work for it yourself and have the sense of knowing it was your hard efforts that got you there? I know what I choose every time.
